Moscow University

Russia's finest and most prestigious university (which happens to be Anastasiya's mothers alma matter) is located right here in Moscow along the banks of the Moscow River.  Moscow State University was founded all the way back in 1755, and now houses nearly 50,000 students on its campus.  

Its main central tower, constructed by Joseph Stalin back in 1955 as one of 7 similar ones across the city, has the distinction of being the worlds tallest (and perhaps best looking) educational building.  This impressive tower is 240 m tall, 36 stories high, and flanked by four huge wings of student and faculty accommodations. It is said to contain nearly 5,000 rooms.  The university remains very difficult to get into, and also has a large number of foreign applicants as well.  Enjoy the photos:
